Transform a kitchen or bathroom area with Community Fund help

Our Well Built Community Fund aims to help groups, charities and schools from across the region to finance projects they would otherwise be unable to complete. For our next giveaway, we're offering £1,000 to help transform a kitchen or bathroom area.

Perhaps a school would like to update its kitchen cupboards, or add new appliances to a teaching space, or a community centre would like to create an inclusive bathroom area. Whatever the project, we would like to hear how groups in the local area would use the donation.

We're well aware that Kitchens and bathrooms are often essential spaces for many community focused groups, so we're delighted to be able to assist with a project and look forward to hearing how people would use the donation.

Three finalists from all the nominations received will then be chosen and the public will be invited to vote for who they would like to receive the £1,000 donation.

To apply for £1,000 to spend at an RGB branch, groups, charities and schools simply need to email RGB@pmwcom.co.uk explaining how a donation will help transform a kitchen or bathroom area.

Nominations can also be posted to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU. The closing date for nominations is Sunday 27th October.

Until February 2020, we will also be inviting groups to apply for £1,000 worth of tools and building materials, and timber and landscaping products.

Terms & Conditions:

  • The closing date for nominations is Sunday 27th October 2019. Any entries received after that date will not be counted.
  • The recipient of the £1,000 to spend at an RGB branch will be the group that receives the highest number of votes.
  • Any votes deemed false will not be counted.
  • The winning group will be required to take part in a photo call with an RGB representative. The photo will be distributed to the media and uploaded to RGB's website and social media platforms.
  • RGB Building Supplies reserves the right to award the prize to a runner-up if contact is not received from the voted winner after 10 days.
  • The winner is required to be involved in a follow up photo call showing how the building materials were used.
  • The prize does not have a cash alternative.
