Since launching our Well Built Community Fund in 2014, we've helped 33 charities, schools and community groups complete projects they wouldn't have otherwise been able to. We're now giving groups the chance to receive £1,000 to spend on timber and landscaping projects before the initiative is refreshed and relaunched in 2021.
The donation is to be spent at a branch and could be used to purchase landscaping materials to transform an outdoor area, or perhaps complete an eco-friendly community project with our FSC approved timber. However a group would like to use the donation, we'd like hear about it.
Our Community Fund has been a phenomenal success and it's been wonderful to learn about and support a fantastic array of projects and groups in the region. Whatever the need, we're encouraging community-focused groups to get in contact one more time and tell us how a donation of timber and landscaping materials could be of benefit.
Although this will be our final Community Fund for 2020, we will be launching a new charity initiative in April.
To apply for the £1,000 donation, groups simply need to email RGB@pmwcom.co.uk explaining how the donation will be used. Nominations can also be posted to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU. The closing date for nominations is Saturday 29th February.
We will then select finalists from all the nominations and the public will be invited to vote for who they would like to receive the £1,000.
