Which branch will come out on top of fundraising challenge?

All branches are holding a day of fundraising on Thursday 31st January as we aim to raise as much money as possible for Children's Hospice South West (CHSW).

The branches are taking part in the CHSW's £50 Challenge where they will go head-to-head against each other to see which depot can raise the most amount of money, after spending no more than £50 on developing a fundraising activity.

From holding dart challenges and 'Boozy Barrow' raffles, to cake sales and guessing how many people are in the RGB van, every branch has its own event and are inviting customers and the local community to visit and help with their fundraising efforts.

CHSW Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser Mhairi Bass-Carruthers said: "We're delighted that so many RGB branches are taking up the £50 Challenge and I'm really looking forward to hearing about some of the innovative ways the different depots come up with to grow their £50 investment.

"The £50 Challenge really is a great way for staff to put their entrepreneurial skills to the test. And it's also the perfect challenge to promote a bit of friendly inter-branch rivalry and support CHSW at the same time."

£50 Challenge

Kevin Fenlon, CEO at RGB, added: "Our charity events are always extremely well supported by our customers and we're certain that our £50 Challenge day will be no different. Children's Hospice South West is our chosen charity and we're delighted to be raising money to help them continue with their fantastic work.

"We look forward to welcoming everyone along to take part in the events and, in advance, thank you to everyone that contributes."
